Combination of planets:

This is a general rule, however at the same time a very important rule to cross check the possibility of wealth and fortunate accumulation. In this, the 1st, 2nd 7th and the 8th house of a Kundali or horoscope of the prospective bride and the groom analysed. Since, if a combination is seen in any one of the two horoscopes, the other partner would also stand to gain in the relationship. Now, for any horoscope, the 1st house or the ascendant Is very important.

Since this is the starting point and the condition should be, 1st house should be free from any affliction or monovalent aspect of any planet. Now, the 2nd house is the house of income and earning to any native is seen through this house, the 7th house is the house of spouse and the 8th house is the house of income of the spouse. 

Now, one of the rules is if the 2nd house lord in a horoscope is placed in the 7th house in the same horoscope, then it can be safely concluded that the native would benefit from wealth and fortune after marriage. Since the income lord of the house is placed in the house of spouse. 

Similarly, there is another rule which has been seen over the years, that if the 8th house is strong with the 8th house lord being placed in the 8th house itself, then too the native would stand to gain after marriage. This is because, the 8th house lord would straight aspect the 2nd house from the ascendant in the native’s horoscope. However, as said earlier, this is a general rule. Since, not every ascendant may enjoy the same results. Therefore, let us check the outcome of this rule for all the 12 ascendants. 

Aries Ascendant: 

For Aries Ascendant the lord of the 2nd house is Venus. When 2nd house lord is placed in the 7th house which is Libra sign, means Venus is in its own sign and in the house of Maraka. Since, 7th house is Maraka, there can be delay in getting marriage, so will be the delay in accumulating wealth and fortune. On the other hand, if the 8th house lord is Mars is placed in 8th house itself, which is Scorpio then the native would have moderate gains after marriage.

Taurus Ascendant:

For Taurus ascendant, if the 2nd house lord, which is Mercury placed in the Scorpio, the 7th house then the outcome would be neutral. With one exception, that Mercury if placed in the Jyeshta nakshtra, then the outcome would be excellent. Here the spouse would be highly supportive and well natured. On the other hand, if Jupiter, the lord of 8th house to this house is placed in Sagittarius, then the outcome would be adverse.

Gemini Ascendant:

To Gemini ascendant the 2nd house is Cancer and its lord Moon. When Moon is placed in the 7th house which is Sagittarius, then a break up is indicated, as 7th house to this house is Badhaka Sthan. Here the native would see much break up in their marital relationship. Again, when we talk of the 8th house to their sign, which is Cancer the placement of Moon is auspicious. Capricorn Ascendant:

In this case, Aquarius is the 2nd house and owned by Saturn. When Saturn is placed in the 7th house, which is Cancer the outcome is moderate. Since, Saturn and Moon are inimical to each other. Now, the 8th house to this sign is Leo, and owned by Sun. The placement of Sun to this sign will only bring neutral results to the native post marriage. Aquarius Ascendant:

For Aquarius Ascendant, the 2nd sign is Pisces. The lord of the same is Jupiter and its placement in the Leo sign will make it lose its directional strength.
